Team Volunteers at Food Bank
On December 21, 2009, the ASAT team volunteered at the
Calgary Inter-faith Food Bank. In the spirit of giving
hope and joy, ASAT staff sorted and processed food hampers
that supported over two thousand families in Calgary
and surrounding area.
Smart
Substation Workshop
ASAT Solutions Inc. conducted a Smart Substation
workshop at the Transmission & Distribution / Smart
Grids Asia event in Bangkok, Thailand on December
1-3, 2009. The workshop highlighted migration strategies
and methodologies toward Smart Substations. This forum
drew in hundreds of business and engineering professionals

ASAT Participates in Junior Achievement
On May 7th, 2009 ASAT Solutions Inc.once again presented
the Junior Achievement Program (Economics of Staying
in School) at Mount Royal College with the important
message that young people need to continue their education
unti they have acquired the knowledge, skills and
attitudes necessary to enjoy a successful career in
an ever-changing economy.
Western Power Distribution Automation
Conference
Spokane, WA., April 6-9, 2009
ASAT Solutions Inc. participated in the annual Western
Power Delivery Automation Conference where power utilities
and manufacturers gather to share knowledge and experience
in substation automation technologies implementation.
In this event, ASAT demonstrated its DAPmini™
for D20 RTU upgrade, DAPguard™ for NERC CIP
implementation, and the secured remote access for
engineering and maintenance.

2009 Power System Conference & Exposition Seattle,
WA., March 16-19,2009
Following the product launch of DAPguard™ application
in early 2009 for addressing cyber security and NERC
CIP requirements, ASAT showcased its substation automation
solution at the IEEE Power System Conference and Exposition.
The migration approach to Smart Grid attracted utility
users and researchers in the electric power industry
and resulted in several pilot projects.

2009
ASAT Solutions Inc. successfully launched its latest
DAPguard™ application at DistribuTECH 2009
in San Diego February 3-5, 2009.
